The music for "First Steps" was inspired by a major accident in which I was involved in 2013. I sustained serious injuries, and as a result, had to learn to walk again. The music shares my feelings as I overcame struggles as I took my first steps toward recovery.

I thank God not only that I survived this incident, but also for teaching me and giving me the experiences that have helped me improve my life in every way. Music serves as a testament to His power and to what I've learned as He has shaped my life into a more Christ-like individual as I have sought His help.

In addition to thanking God for the gift of music, I thank my best friend and brother in bond, Gianni Cappelletti for his unfailing support throughout this project. I also appreciate the work of my sister, Melissa, who provided the cover art for this album.

I hope you enjoy listening to this album as much as I enjoyed creating it!
